Doppler is a premature Green Sea Turtle rescued on August 4th, 2017, during a post-hatch excavation. He was found with his yolk sack still attached meaning he was not fully developed nor was he strong enough to make it at sea. Usually sea turtles found at this stage, have stopped incubating, however, Doppler is alive. SAT volunteers brought him to the Turtle Hospital in Marathon, where he finished developing and was released just off the coast of the Florida Keys, September 2017.
